I absolutely enjoyed it a lot! I really, really like Pieter's humour and character and of course his way of telling stories. I admire how he kept such a positive outlook on life after what he's been through. I could listen for hours and hours... Thanks Shaun as usual, i am forever grateful for your work and this channel especially! Pure Gold!

No wonder he has PTSD bless him, living for ten years in those conditions and witnessing those very violent incidents. But true to his ability to dig deep and put humorous light on things although subject matter is not funny, his dark sense of humour which he has adopted to survive is impeccable. Also all of you giving excellent advise against Narcotics importing and not glorifying gangster lifestyle like some sites on KZbin do . Yet again brilliant work to Shaun and team

How he’s still able to mentally function so normally is quite incredible really given what he’s been through, it’s amazing really how the human mind can compartmentalise certain experiences as a survival mechanism to keep one’s sanity in tact.

if they are not feeding prisoners any death should be classed as genocide .They are doing their timefor their crime so to speak I truly believe that violence breeds violence.

There’s something extra and amusing hearing about this industry from someone with a Public school accent. It reminds me of Monty Python. They are both very articulate and interesting story tellers. Thanks Shaun for providing more interesting content than the major internet sites. Your the best interviewer as you get the best guests and let them speak.

Fantastic trilogy, I hope Pieter's condition keeps on improving. If anything, I learnt not only carrying drugs in foreign countries is far from wise; buying them off people you don't know is too.

59:24 if anyone has ever read "Papillon" by Henri Charriere (not the two woefully crap movies that should be burned and forgotten into the mists of time), you'll remember the story of the young white-haired French lad who owned the cat. Man, that small story has stuck with me for some 20 years now since I first read it. He was spared from the guillotine in Paris (can't exactly remember why, it was a special day in France where at least one prisoner was spared the death sentence - kind of like how Americans like to spare a Turkey for xmas), and by the time he got to South America on the long boat voyage his hair had turned a Shocking White colour from the trauma. He never spoke to anyone, kept himself to himself, but he ended up keeping a cat who he loved and adored. You guys starting to remember it now? One of the saddest stories in the whole book imo. What happened next I won't ruin here, as you Really need to read it to get the full force of it!... But Fucking Hell!

That poor bastard's been through it alright. Loved the other two podcasts, delighted to find a third one. I could listen to Piet's stories all day, but fucking hell do I feel sorry for the poor bloke. It's not like he was out there hurting people. Those jails out in South America sound like a nightmare.

amazing stories told by actual real decent honorable people who have been involved as the main people in importation. Not some dangerous thug with no morals who are a danger to be on the streets. its a shame these men had to endure these horrific experiences for doing business in an honorable way. this is why legalization is paramount so that we take the trade out of the hands of murderous gangs and into the hands of people who do non violent business and would likely have more morals regarding safety and harm reduction. Pieter, David, Shaun you should have not had to go through such punishment ESPECIALLY pete! fuck mate im sorry the governments and organisations and forces out there are pure heartless evil in this world sometimes. NON VIOLENT OFFENDERS SHOULD NEVER BE HOUSED WITH EXTREMELY VIOLENT OFFENDERS EVER!!!!!!
