The Rule of Law is The English Constitution. It includes Magna Carta, The Bill of Rights 1688, The Coronation Oath the Queen swore on in 1953. The British UK do not have a Constitution, it is a political union., and makes up laws and the parliament is definitely not Sovereign, the people are. The English Constitution trumps any laws, acts or statutes the British parliament make and also the parliament is limited. The laws of our Constitution, The Bill of Rights 1688 gives us our inaliable rights which are existing and forever. Tony Blair tried to alter the Treason Laws but was unsuccessful as it cannot be removed nor altered. I believe the true and lawfull Rule of Law ought to be continued to be taught as many people don't realise it still exists and our rights set out in the Bill of Rights are in fact lawfully more powerful than the new rights made up by Tony Blair.

Unfortunately, like the vast majority of the population of this country, there is a belief that we have no written constitution, this is entirely false, Lord justice John Laws used this in his ruling on the "Metric Martyrs " case in 2001, naming the constitutional documents as.., Magna Carta, Bill of Rights, Act of Union 1707, these are all current statute law in force today. He also referred to the European Communities Act of 1972, i would suggest for political purposes only because under our constitution, membership of and submission to its laws are completely illegal under the Bill of Rights, a transcript of which can be read online. Anyone making statements about the constitution must read these three documents before doing so, they are enlightening and reveal the abuse of power by politicians and officers of the state, and the judicatory over many years, under the separation of powers, how can a supreme court be legal, politically appointed judges mock this theory. Thu E.U, far from upholding our freedoms have in fact removed so many of our basic rights, the afore mentioned documents will support this fact. For example... Magna Carta, last updated 1979 states that, "no man shall be exiled", which means that the European arrest warrant is illegal!!! Empower yourselves,.. read the Bill of Rights..!

The UK has an unwritten constitution because substantial and important constitutional rules are not collected together in a written, authoritative document (like the written US constitution). That some parts of our constitution stem from one of several diverse documents (such as Magna Carta or the EU Treaties) is undeniable..as I think is clear from this video. In particular, UK constitutional conventions are not set out in a legal document.

The United Kingdoms membership of the EU was and still is illegal; parliament had no power to engage this policy, Ted Heath was warned of this in 1960 by Lord Kilmuir, ... look at the front of the Statutory Instruments Act of 1946 and it will provide proof, if you need more then read the promise by the Monarch in the Bill of Rights.
