They're good aren't they? ;) Vlad the drummer is actually a classically trained pianist, but guitar was his main instrument throughout most of his career. It wasn't until one of his former bands (that he played guitar for) needed a drummer, so he picked up the kit, studied a few drummers that he liked, and pretty much taught himself to play drums. He had been heavily involved in writing many of their more recent songs.

Nice reaction. Vlad is indeed an excellent drummer, with a very tasteful style that is quite distinct from other drummers. Jinjer are probably my favourite band at the moment and became my gateway to harsh vocals, which I had not previously liked much. Another drummer with a very distinct style - in very different ways - is Evgeny Novikov of Slaughter to Prevail. He is a super hard hitter with insane double-kick chops, and makes an interesting contrast with Vlad's more subtle and chill approach. Both Vlad and Evgeny have excellent play-throughs on their respective band channels.

Good reaction. I would list songs of Jinjer's that a drummer would like but that is pretty much all of them. They have had several drummers and the last two especially are very good. Vlad (the drummer in this video) is the current drummer. Vlad does have a couple of drum playthrough videos you would probably like. The best one is Mediator (Live Drum Playthrough Szene Open Air, Austria). I guess if I had to pick some of the better songs with great drums it might be Captain Clock, I Speak Astronomy, Sit Stay Roll Over, Teacher Teacher, Ape, The Prophesy, Home Back, Vortex, Who is Gonna be the One Live.

Vlad really is awesome. Few people point out how small his whole set is yet he uses it so well its as if he has a gigantic set surrounding him. Absolute master. Watch perrenial live wacken 2019. Youll get to see them in a live festival setting absolutely killing it.

Though their popularity is definitely blowing up, I don't think these guys get enough credit. The band is phenomenal. Obviously Tati gets most of the attention, as she should, she's a true superstar. But the band is so talented.
