I agree with you that he doesn’t need auto tune, he’s got a great voice (I think their song “Same Sky” showcases it the best, way different vibe) but the auto tune is so perfect for their vibe. Seeing them perform in Buffalo in two months, so excited!

I had the pleasure of seeing them live last month when they opened for Dance Gavin Dance and SiM was absolutely incredible. I've since had their albums on repeat and in heavy rotation in my playlists.

Glad you enjoyed it. Ska Metal is a pretty good description. They blend a lot of Ska, Metal, Punk and Reggae in their sound and it shows.

The big one from SiM is The Rumbling, that was the song which got them noticed overseas. I'd also second Who's Next, and throw in there recommendations for Baseball Bat, A, Fxxkfxxkfxxk, and for something very different, The Sound of Breath.

The Rumbling got their biggest notice overseas, but It wasn't the first time the global anime community spotted them, they did the openings to both seasons of Rage of Bahamut, and it was a sleeper hit show from 2014. The songs in question are "Existence" and "Let it End"
