Critics complained that the girls sang only in English. Some claimed their father bought their career by paying venues to let them play. Some local Monterrey bar bands were jealous that TW had grown exponentially while the bar bands had gone nowhere. They were called cultural traitors. This song is their response to those haters. When Pau is waving her hand she is saying: " You know nothing. You run your mouth and don't shut up.."

Would love to hear you reacting to and/or breaking down the whole concert, either as a whole or in groups of 1-2 songs each vid. Would especially love to hear your reaction to what they did to Dust to Dust/Dull Knives at Pepsi Center, or the Teatro Metro version of Narcisista, since you said you said you wanted to hear Pau as a frontwoman! I think you'd have a blast seeing Pau singing and killing the drums live, it felt surreal to finally see it with my own eyes. And something I didn't expect was that her snare is a cannon in person. Easily the loudest thing on stage at both concerts I saw, when she goes for a hard hit it is crazy how loud that thing is, but clear too. Their sound guy Lalo is amazing.

Don't know if you noticed but The Warning released each of the 23 songs except for "Dust to Dust/Dull Knives" as singles that are numbered on the thumbnail. They also released the entire concert video. Go for it!

HYCAD is my second favorite; it's a very powerful song. Survive's my favorite, then Martirio is #3. Behind those is a huge logjam. Pau sings about 20% of the leads, including several split leads.

Not gonna bash you about HYCAD, just say the title correctly. Hell You Call A Dream... not hell you CAN call a dream. And, the song Narcisista is in Spanish, so listen to Pau when she introduces the song for the proper pronunciation.

I won't bash you for your favorite song being "Hell You Call a Dream", but I will bash you for getting the name wrong. Their first song in Spanish, "Narcisista", was written in 2019 and released as a stand-alone single. It was a direct response to critics who accused them of being "malinchistas"-a term in Mexico for someone seen as a cultural traitor-for only singing in English up to that point.
