Learn the answer structure of the different mark questions (like 4 mark, 8 mark, 15 mark etc) and what needs to be in the answer to get the full marks - I remember doing a lot of arguments, counter arguments and graphs. I hated the graphs and couldn't remember many or understand them but I just tried my best to put one that works with my arguments/counter arguments. I remember doing a lot of basic supply/demand ones describing the effect on the economy as I never wanted to get an A*, I just wanted to get a C.

When talking about people moving up tax brackets because they are frozen, is that an example of automatic stabilisers aiming to reduce a budget deficit?. I do edexcel. thank you for the videos :)

No not quite. Automatic stabilisers refer to when the economy is overheating and government tax receipts increase because people are earning more. But what he is describing is fiscal drag, where nominal wages are rising due to inflation but tax brackets aren't rising in line with this, so real wages fall. Fiscal drag is generally a bad thing, whereas automatic stabilisers are good for the economy. Hope that helps

If you follow OCR, then the specification is set out as questions; whether it be 'explain', 'calculate', 'explain with a diagram' or 'evaluate'. I answer every question as I revise each topic.

For AQA it’s not enough to just plan, some topics can be pretty tricky to write down at first even if you understand them. Write questions, then plan the rest. I know this video is good, but rather than just listing stats it’s better to get application by appealing to history ie learn austerity, learn financial crisis, learn ERM, not to just put them in but substantiate a conclusion

you dont HAVE to, ive gotten As on most of my papers without having much of current statistics, just chuck a few examples in like the financial crisis (2008) and they tend to do the trick, will depend on the question though
