Yes, you can get inyear admission anytime. Need to contact ur council with address proof. Based on vacancy they’ll allocate near by in catchment area or further away or may put u in waiting list. Good to contact schools by 1sr or 2nd week of December before Christmas closure, so that your son may have a place to join in the new year. Or get settled in December and contact council in the new year. Best wishes

Hi Vidhya, Yes your daughter would get in-year admission based on the schools vacancy in ur catchment area. For your son, you may have to apply for Reception before deecmeber or in some counties before January to get a place in Sep 2023 Kids should have completed 4 years by Aug 31st this year to get a reception place next years. Until then you can check if he gets any 2-3 hrs free nursery in the schools

Secondary school In-year admission is possible. Once you move here, check with your local council for school vacancies. Based on ur address proof they’ll allocate a school in ur catchment. Based on this age, he needs to join year10 or year11

Vanaja Esther Rani I yes, if there is a suitable vacancy, like head teacher, assistant head teacher , lunch attender, care taker, office assistant etc. Usually retirement age is 60 for ladies and 65 for gents, but there are some jobs that can be done beyond this age.

Do not choose grammar school in long distance from home. Try to avoid long travel to goto school, children get tired and bored over the time which affect their studies.
