UK flooding: Heavy rains inundate parts of Britain, wash out roads

Outbreaks of heavy rain caused flooding to hit parts of Britain on Monday, blocking roads and causing travel disruptions.
One Bedfordshire resident said he had never seen such flooding in the 10 years he had been living there.
Meanwhile, a pub in London is embracing the high tide of the swollen Thames River.
