It's an all-or-nothing first past the post system that leaves little room for smaller parties, and entrenches two major parties in power. So that's how you get Reform with more votes than Lib Dems, because their 14% of their votes is high, but spread out like that in every constituency, while Lib Dems have a power base in Southwest England that usually gets 30-50% of the votes. Wouldn't it be awesome if we literally got rid of this outdated system and joined the rest of Europe with a modernized proportional or mixed-proportional democratic system?
