in the Sky 1 version of Hang Tough they would sometimes trash talk to the female contenders, to make them let go after the body scissors was applied if they still held on, and I heard rumours that Lightning and Jet did it in this version too - e.g. "This was me with your boyfriend last night - and he said it was better than with you" - etc - would saying that make a female contender let go though? Both versions certainly had such trash talking but I don't know what was said for sure
