49 points was a domestic record for a contender (for a 5-event show). No wonder the Glads had it in for Dave on the Gauntlet. He embarrassed them all night and showed why he was the best.

Hunter was very competitive however, hated losing and his petulance would come out from time to time nothing wrong with that its good to a degree. Saracen just never wrapped his head around the rules with regards to the Gauntlett throughout the shows history, hence his re-occurring frustration when playing it, it was the only game I ever seen him lose his cool on and it was always down to a difference of opinion with the decisions made by Anderson,, he was brilliant as a glad 99% of the time.

Hunter lost the plot in this episode on gauntlet, were they pissed at Dave for how he beat Cobra on hang tough or something? Also, Cass clearly jumped out of the gauntlet of his own choice, so the right decision was made there also. Not sure what the big deal is about as Wolf gave Cass a free pass on hang tough by doing his usual clownery. I think Hunter was also pissed as Dave was too good for him on swing ball. Very fragile egos in some of these guys...

I think they used their discretion to suit their own personal bias imo. They didn't like Cassius from the start so he got a lot of silly heat. I think his mate didn't help matters though to be fair, a loud mouth that seemed to hate white people sadly. I liked Cassius but he needed to keep his mate in check.

On 2nd viewing I've changed my mind about Dave Walton being an average winner,, he was very good in fact, scored heavily and seemed to be like a horse idling in front on this particular eliminator as well, but once Cass went to his girth he sped up and bolted clear 🤣 some need to be challenged before producing their best I guess, whereas most buckle under pressure when it comes to the challenge.
