Nice words from Cobra after hang tough with Colm, respect from Northern Ireland!

It wasn't until I started watching the reruns of this series just now on Challenge that I realized how compassionate and how good a guy Ace was while sticking to the rules of the game. While it can of course be argued that Wolf's frustration in Colm's antics is justified, the fact that Ace and Rhino both knew that it was right to keep Colm's spirits up in such frustrating times is truly admirable. Listening to John Anderson addressing Colm immediately before the eliminator, I think he had it in for the guy - he certainly sounds frustrated while announcing his name!

Good sportsmanship from the gladiators after Colm had trouble in the gauntlet. Even though the gladiators are tough, they have a good mentality to respect the contenders when bad things happen. Good sportsmanship there!

Compared to the first 2 seasons of Gladiators especially it’s amazing to see how fair play the Wolf is in this episode.

That men's gauntlet was pure box office: - Vulcan going back to his wrestling roots and throwing Neil around. - Wolf turning babyface fpr good by confronting Vulcan for what he did. - Neil jumping the whistles and John Anderson's ''This is a whistle. WAIT for it!''. LMAO. - The meltdown at the end with Rhino and Ace consoling Colm. Brilliant piece of television.

I used to feel sorry for Colm as a kid. Now I find the whole thing hilarious more than anything. You can see him beginning to crack after Hang Tough, lol. That's how it goes. Alex Reid also had a bad night against Micah but he always remained upbeat.

Colm was a brilliant contender! Good sportsmanship from the glads telling him to keep his chin up! It was a shame his dream had come to and end like that!

its funny how in jane smiths interview before hang tough, she says she hoped to make it to the other side, and score 10 points, but she never scored on hang tough in any of her shows, but still, its fair to say she was very enjoyable to watch on all the games she played, she was a brilliant athlete :)

I actually really feel for Colm here, he clearly didn't have the luck of the Irish going for him leading up to the Gauntlet and then when he went before the whistle TWICE, he clearly started getting very frustrated and got a bit upset as well as did his brother in the audience. Very sportsman like though of Ace and Rhino to tell Colm to keep his head up and don't look back!

He failed to pick up any points in powerball and from then on was trying way to hard and ended up getting frustrated,, if he'd relaxed a bit more he'd have gained maybe 4-6 points more and been 4 seconds closer to Neil on the eliminator putting more pressure on him, he got almost level with him being 9 seconds behind. Noticed after swingshot he was berating himself with only 2 points, just far to pent up and getting sloppy and raggy because of it. Its only when he'd given up before the eliminator he actually relaxed and almost caught Neil at the end. lessons I guess, being young you make them and learn from them.

@@therebel4332 i think the problem was he faced hunter twice in this show, in powerball and the wall, if he would have faced another male gladiator, he probably would have scored more points in powerball at least, but im sure thats pretty obvious!!

Neil really is making some silly mistakes on The See-Saws during the Eliminator, at the same time Colm was looking at John Anderson to see if he broken the rules and had to do the See-Saws again, and you can see John Anderson pointing his finger in the direction of the Travelator, and once again Neil barley makes it through the Paper-Burst on the Final Rope Swing, I guess relief was kicking in more than his signs of being tired out.

Jane vs Maria would have made a great final, 2 very strong contenders. Jane is so quick! Shes faster than a lot of the guys and not far off Daves record!

Colm was being pretty unprofessional to Neil by saying he's just looking forward to going home when there was still an eliminator to run. Could easily have put him off.

Maria should have been disqualified on the wall as she crossed over to what could have been Jane’s path had Jane decided to use the middle part of the wall.

Whatever one thinks about Maria's attitude (personally I find her boring more than arrogant), she was the second best female contender that season and she should have faced Jane in the final. Since they were switching the pairings around all the time (for example, Colm should have faced Dave in SF1), not sure why they didn't do the same with the women.
