Funny you say that about Edinburgh’s tourist stores. When I worked there 17 of the souvenir shops on the Royal Mile where owned by the same company, and they were only going to expand.

Yep that’s exactly what they’ve done! Nearly all the stores are owned by the same company and a lot of the pubs are owned by the same people too.
