@@mikejones215 Of course, UK famous for the sex grooming mostly Pakistani criminals. Never heard of it by sedentary Roms, but why not ? And why is nobody not mentioning it, in that case ? It seems the kids were left alone alot, one of them dropped a baby on its head, etc. The case looks like bad negligence.. maybe some abuse.. I live in France and there are lots of Roms, but the majority live in caravans and move around, as now, they come around where I live, in various size numbers where they can find places to stay. Most towns or boroughs have to provide some form of space and electricity and water etc. But, even if they don't have a brilliant reputation, I've never heard of pedophilia. they don't mix with the general population, some are sedentary, but the others mostly have comfortable caravans, they get social aide, but they also sell things, and do seasonal work. Their kids usually go to boarding school during the school year. Maybe it's different in UK ? As muslims were involved in this riot, I still don't know why, 'cos they lived in that neighbourhood, just to support the Rom family, or just anti /authority/police ? There are many more muslims in France than UK, but from different countries (mostly). But I've never heard of them siding with Roms, who are mostly catholic or christian. As you must know, our riots are mostly muslim or those defending them (ultra left), and most of the delinquency, drugs, fights, knife attacks, are muslim. And of course the big islamist attacks, in 2015 etc, but as now, with the Olympics, they're on tenderhooks, I can read 42 prevented attacks since 2017, dated Sept '23.
