UK passes controversial bill to send migrants to Rwanda • FRANCE 24 English

You say it’s a controversial bill, but I have only ever heard that it was controversial in the media. Never heard anyone in real life complaining about it, or fighting over it, and my circle includes many left-wing people and some right-wingers as well. I can’t say it’s even been brought up by anyone more than once or twice in the whole time since it’s been announced.

I do not have a problem having refugee centers abroad, but I do question having it in a dictatorship. Potentially sending people who have fled from dictators to a dictatorship. How do we know one dictator doesn’t just make an underhand deal with another dictator? What happens if peoples asylum case are falsely rejected? As having witnessed some of the asylum procedures in Europe, I can say with confidence that this happens all the time, just as well as people are able to lie to get asylum. Unfortunately it’s extremely hard to evaluate if people are genuine refugees or not.

Will you look at that? The accommodation looks lush! How is that inhumane? Refugees seeking asylum should only care about one thing. That they are safe. They should not have the luxury of choice really.

Wanting money, or jobs, is not a legitimate case of mass migration, and certainly not assylum. These people have the ability to grow and fix their own home countries. Every country has a fiat currency system caacity, and dirt grows food all over the world. Climate has always changed and that's not a reason for miration either.
