UK PM Sunak’s envoy for religious freedom Fiona Bruce raises Manipur issue in UK Parliament

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's envoy for religious freedom Fiona Bruce has raised the Manipur violence issue in the House of Commons. The British MP claimed that hundreds of churches in the state have been destroyed and said the violence was premeditated. However, she did not mention anything about the losses suffered by the Meitei community in the ethnic strife. In Manipur, ethnic violence between mostly Christian Kuki tribals and the Meiteis - who are mostly Hindus - has claimed over a 100 lives, while thousands of people have been displaced.

*MANIPUR and NE IN FLAMES* A well analysed article By General Shankar Roychaudhri ( former COAS ) I am of the view that tribal clash between Metei and Kuki has Chinese foot prints . Indian leftists , supported by short sighted political parties are unwittingly playing into Chinese hands . You must know that in 2009, a chinese daily had published an article which had suggested breaking up of India into 20-30 states. Article was later withdrawn but Chinese efforts towards it continue . More so , after India’s tilt towards USA , has led to intensification of Chinese efforts to balkanise India . Manipur unrest and tribal clash is extension of this policy of China . You must know that ULFA Supremo , Paresh Barua has been sheltered in China and he guides his activists from there . China is known to have supported Maoists and Naga insurgents . Their eyes are fixed on Bay of Bengal . You may find whole of NE going up in flames ! China is keen to *slice away whole of NE* because of its desire to push through *CMEC (Chinese Myanmar Economic Corridor)* on the lines of CPEC . You also must know that CHINA has already taken on lease COCO ISLAND from Myanmar and it is building military facilities there . COCO island lies some 15 KMs NE of India’s A& N islands group . From Coco island run two pipelines ( Oil and Gas) to China . They pass through Rakhine province of Myanmar and hence *ROHINGYA MUSLIM Problem* . They were a problem and hence *Myanmar in collusion with China has uprooted them* . India must understand that *China gives more importance to NE* because it allows it a direct Land route to Bay of Bengal . It wants to dominate it. Remember DHOKA LA crisis of July 2017 - it was designed to cut the *SILIGURI CORRIDOR* (25 Kms) . China has roads coming right up to Chumbi valley . It just needs to cut SILIGURI CORRIDOR . It is wooing Bhutan , Bangla Desh and Myanmar . What happens to India , if China dominates Bay of Bengal by slicing away NE . Your entire Eastern Coast line is in danger -which includes , Missile testing range at Wheeler Island; Visakhapatnam Ship / submarine building facility; ISRO at Sriharikota and A & N Island group, which controls entry to Malacca strait. Do not forget the Maoists problem in Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and also Tamil Nadu . They all become vulnerable to Chinese manipulations . *China may be working now towards its 2009 Plan . Manipur unrest might be the first glimpse of this Chinese plan . Think about it . *Do not dismiss it as Tribal clash* . India has to give a fillip to its Kaladan project to link with NE through a sea route from Kolkotta to Manipur.
