Excellent catch at 07:35! Very rare to see a CIU vehicle responding. I'm usually resumed from scene when they turn up, but from what I understand from Traffic colleagues they don't ordinarily rush to scene once it's locked down and preserved. Great video mate 👍

Police and ambulance look fairly similar in the UK except an ambulance is green and yellow and the siren has a chorus effect and they also have a horn that goes booooooock boooooooock if you don't move out of the way when they are on an emergency call

The first truck: the cop vehicle, illustrates a failing in many emergency vehicle liveries. The diagonal yellow stripes on the back are so narrow that at even a moderate distance the eye integrates the whole panel into a mid grey. Better if there were only three or four very wide yellow diagonals on the back panel.

great video, however I feel the police in the uk are far too polite in their driving waiting for people to move out of the way. Here in Australia they police don't wait they go around you & by that I mean they regularly mount the kerb when Presented with traffic they will mount some traffic islands & blast through when in a hurry Especially in Victoria.

@@anakinskywalker4113 Something like that would never happen in the UK, and thankfully not - it was a bit illogical. Both sides of the road had quite a bit of traffic, but I suppose it did progress faster. UK officers are taught to be very progressive, relaxed and try not to confuse the public. They will often use the wrong side at junctions, but only if it's generally clear and always at a slow speed yet keeping up good pace. It really is an ideal balance between speed, safety and progression.

If many of y'all haven't been to america did you know that american police cars don't need to honk the horn to switch the siren? We have a pad which gives us the ability to switch sirens whenever and wherever! It's just that simple. Yes the USA drives left handed! Not right handed.

The reason we use the horn to change it is so the driver doesn't have to take his or her hand off the wheel! Its actaully a very sensible idea
