இங்க school life... 8:30am Skl starts 12:30pm lunch break 1:30pm again start 4:30pm Skl close 5:00pm spl class starts 6:30pm spl class end Exam time 8:00pm spl class end. Saturday full working day 8am - 5pm class Saturday Half working day 8 - 12 class. afternoon 1-4 spl class Final exams time Monday to Saturday mrng 8 to night 8 class. Sunday sometimes 9-12 spl class.. Life ல ellarukum Skl life again வராதா nu nenachitu irupanga.. Aana ennaku Skl life முடிஞ்சது தான் still periya ninmathi.. Life la Verthu pona ஒரு stage na அது Skl life தான்... Clg life way better...

Your information is not complete. Something worth noting is that, students get split into multiple sets, we had 5 sets. The students with lower grades get put in lower sets (lowest is 5). So higher set students get taught content that is harder and faster, while lower set students get taught content slower. Set 5 get taught multiplication while set 1 get taught algebra. This enables good students to excel in their pace while bad students to learn in their own pace so they don't get left behind. If they do good enough, they get moved up. This is excellent because when I studied in India, I had very bad scores, because people studied too fast for my pace. I was therefore in set 5 in everything. At my own pace, I was able to learn and move up sets. I moved to set 1 in 1 year span! and I became one of the higher achieving students because of this system. This system facilitates students based on thier drive and motivation rather than their speed of learning! I went to a very basic corner school. Design Technology subjects from my 'normal' school consist of: Food Technology: Everyone learns about food including safety, healthy eating, contaminations and cooking Resistent Materials: Designing products from scratch to solve problems, including molding plastic, working with wood, sanding, etc Textile Design: textile stuff Arts: Drawing, researching artists, styles, inspiration etc Graphics: 3D modelling We also have Business Studies: researching businesses, gap in the market, conducting surveys etc Information Communication Technology: Teacing powerpoint, Excel, use of IT in business, etc Computer Science: basic coding, binaries Drama: They teach acting. (Very fun) Music: guitar, keyboard, drums more, including editing on Apple hardware. Languages include: Tamil, Urdu, Arabic, French, Spanish, German During year 7 and 8, students are distributed with these extra sujects every three months I think we tried 3 of these subjects. For year 9, we had to choose I think 3 of these extra subjects to pursue for GCSE. Those subjects carry on for year 10 and 11. Year 11 is when people do their final exams. GCSE subjects are called 'level 2' After this you are right about Alevel and BTEC. These are called 'level 3'. BTEC is mainly for students who didn't do well in school. While doing BTEC, colleges let you study the GCSE that you failed again for the year and redo GCSE exam. Good universities do not accept students with BTEC, especially Medicine (Doctor Studies) or STEM disciplines. Alevels are much much harder (I've done both BTEC and Alevel). After this, students move onto do university which is level 6. Students can also do level 4 courses such as apprenticeships or other low-key courses. Most Bachelor university degrees are 3 years long. Most Masters are 1 year but people often do Master degree part time over 2 years. After this, you have PHD and Doctorate In India, I'm guessing students go straight to degree studies after 12th standard. here we do 12th and 13th as Alevels. Edit: Also worth mentioning if a child is missing from school or hasn't joined a school, the government tracks the parents, sends them warning and threats to send the kid to school, or they have to pay hefty fine. So GCSE education is compulsory for every child like you said. The government gives money to parents for their children, if the parents have low pay. If the student has unauthorised absences, they stop giving money. This really encourages children to go school. And poor parents don't have to send their kids for labour. Education is free until University for all students. After that, government gives loans for university, and most students pay back that debt until they are in their 50's.

What ever u said in this video abt the educational system the same thing was followed in my sch like we had swimming class , cookery class , art class etc and also karate and skating . Basically I live in coimbatore and i am happy that modern schools are much developed in India especially tamilnadu
