I'm very jealous that you have access to a park like this. Everything is mostly street obstacle oriented where I live. Thanks for the tour!

Duck Lane is a fab place for a skate but also extremely challenging and that deepend is just plain scary! I've loved having a couple of spins round that place and the locals are definitely a great bunch and can seriously skate!

Fantastico !!

@@JonBishopSkate yeah it’s a shame cause the weather is glorious. Naproxen will kick in soon so hopefully the swelling goes down.

Bournemouth! My home town during my youth! Ever get over to slades farm skate park? is it still there.

Yeah dude! It’s pretty crusty now, I used to take the surf skate over for a potter round with the big soft wheels 🛞

My god you really pay attention to every little detail. You got good story telling skills too. Enjoying watching your video contents. Bishop I got a questions for you. What type of wheels do you prefer when skating bowls and transition both standard and the carver C5 trucks. I been skating on Surf Rodz with surf keys inserts for some years and actually got a little disappointed when I recently got a set of Carver C5 didn’t feel much of difference in in turning vs leaning except the carver is more challenging riding fakie 🙃 probably have to play around with the wheelbase length and the bushings of the Carvers. I got the Carver CX’s but they are way to high off the ground.

Yeah dude! I like Spitfire 99a formula four in 60mm for the vert ramp, 58mm for the bowl and 55mm for street. My C5 setup has 61mm OJ team riders on and they work a treat also?
@Quickrex2 жыл бұрын
@@JonBishopSkate yeah the spitfire you can’t really fault them. I’m on the Oj 57mm 95a Nomads right now and they work a treat but still think the are a bit slower than the spitfire 99a my case the 56mm.

Another enjoyable video, nice one Jon. Got a question for you re. Injuries, you seem to take some pretty decent slams but not suffer too badly from injuries? Do you have any good tips on falling properly? My problem is everytime I go down I seem to screw my elbow up.
@JonBishopSkate2 жыл бұрын
Hey Dude, yeah I got a bit of a feel for it out of sheer practice 😂 I sort of go limp and try to crumple and spread my weight? I think the yoga, gym and kale 🥬 eating helps too?
@jameslowe29792 жыл бұрын
Good tips, I think not using hands to break fall is also key
