Thank God the British and Nato had nothing to do with the 2014 coup or the pre, and post, coup arming of Ukraine. Britain does not, and never has (nor will be) involved in covert warfare, regime changes, or political assassinations. Whilst some narrow minded people might regard Nato expansion and placement of offensive weaponry on Russia's border as provoctative to Russia this is clearly not the case. After all we do not regard the placement of Russian weaponry on the South Korean bordar as provocative, nor would we if such weaponry was placed on the Scottish side of the English bordar. The use of long range weapons by the Ukrainians (bearing in mind that they can only be operated by US, British, or French military is clearly justified and does not mean that (even if the US, British or French troops fire those weapons ) we are in any way directly involved in this conflict. The possibility of nuclear war and the devestation of the planet is clearly a price wort paying.
