Great video, and helpful. Gonna do this trip soon, how much in advance do you need to get to the port by? Since in Dover the border check is before the check in (and ferry companies say check in closes 60 min before departure). Would you say 1.5 hrs is enough or better 2 hrs? Thanks!

What do you need to have to cross the border? I am talking about the vehicle, do you need vehicule in your name? Do you need special insurance to drive in France since they drive opposite side? What do you need in terms of your vehicle?

It’s better to check with your insurance provider, every insurance policy is different some companies allow to travel to EU and others not. Don’t need vehicle to be on your name but need insurance on your name to drive.

The UK should adopt an immigration system like the UAE. In the Emirates, people can come and work but will never be granted citizenship. You notice that the expats/migrants are well behaved and know their place in the UAE. This would help the UK economy and also control our ever changing demographics. #UAEMODEL
