Our comrades in Nigeria are often our bane in the struggle for study abroad opportunities. How and why on earth would you go openly advertising "gigs" for the "acquisition" of the bank statements/PoF. This is somewhat alarming and something UKVI would eventually place an Eagle's eye on. This happens, and the repercussion greatly will be on someone who could later self fund his/her education with genuine means. Most applicants only legitimately need the PoF to "Enter" but need support using Evidence of funding for their predepature processes and migration.

The truth is these things have been circulating before his video. Have you seen how things like that are littered on Instagram, and other platforms. Whether or not he should have been more diplomatic in his video...Maybe or Maybe not. I, however, know that he was passing an implied message of cautiousness. Secondly, The truth is that PEOPLE DEFAULT IN school fees payment. It is as bad as he mentioned in his video, take it or leave it. Most especially, black people, that I can tell you for a fact. You said...people are smart, hardworking but the truth is UK is not a bed of roses. The UK government is even smarter. They knew that you would not be able to work 20hrs to pay tuition and other expenses, which was why they requested for the proof upfront. When people try to beat the system, they end up shooting themselves in the foot like the issue of default.

No, it won't look suspicious as long as you leave the fund in your account for minimum of 28days from the last day of your deposit. But I will advice you to try to do some transactions (deposit and withdrawal) in your account within that 28days. Don't just put lump sum of money in your account and leave it dormant for that 28days. Please, my advice is based on my personal experience as I currently did regarding my master's degree application.

In 2016 I didnt have to have pof before CAS. However pof was still required for visa application atleast pof running for 28days. Just learning this has changed.

Hello My parents are my sponsors and they would be using their business account for my POF. Would that affect? Note, the business account is carrying a different name, but the account is always active. In answering my mandatory questionnaire I told the school that my parents would be my sponsor.

You need proofs to show that your parents own that business account...At least, there should be certificates of incorpotion and other documents showing the owners of the business. You also need letter of sponsorship from your parents, your birth certificate. To simplify things, let your parents transfer the POF from their business account into your existing account and back it up with a letter. Simple

I commented based on the information you supplied earlier that you'll be using your parent's business account. For any bank account that is not yours; you need a consent letter from the owner of the account.

If your parents transfer the money into your account, you'll still need a sponsorship letter since you already said they'll be sponsoring you. In the letter, they just need to mention their relationship with you, intention to sponsor you, and their source of income.

He can’t be specific in the sense that the calculation is based on cost of living, balance of tuition for the period of your stay. Each fee differs depending on the school and accommodation

I cannot specifically say this is the amount because it differs for every student… Your proof of funds is expected to be the sum of your tuition fee balance and living expenses.. I hope this clarifies?

The minimum is £9207 per annum ie £1023 per month (living cost) if u ar living outside London, and the balance of your tuition fee. But if you ar living in London you will need £12006 per annum ie £1334 per month plus the remaining balance of your tuition fees. So if your tuition fees balance is let say £10000, then you will need to provide financial evidence of £10,000 + £9207 = £19,207 for outside London. Or £10000 + £12006 = £22,006.

Very universities in the UK provide accommodation scholarships and it’s not automatic… There are requirements. I got one with the University of Sunderland.
