Don't worry you will get the decision this week, usually within 5 days apart you do hear from them with the decision (Working Days)

Is it student visa ? Did you received this sort of email ? Thank you for applying for a UK visa. Your visa application has been received and is under consideration. We aim to process non settlement applications within 15 working days (unless you have opted for the Priority Visa service, if available), and settlement applications within 120 working days. Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible. We will write to you again if there is any change to this. Please do not attend the Visa Application Centre until you have been advised that your application has been decided and that your passport is ready for collection. With regards to your enquiry about the status of your application, I can confirm that your application is being considered and is currently awaiting a decision. Please note, the priority service does not guarantee that you will receive a decision within a certain number of days. It only means that your application would be put in front of the queue. We aim to complete priority applications as soon as possible however it may get delayed due to several factors.

Just hope you get a decision next week. It's not just you. Currently, every second applicant's decision is delayed by over two weeks under standard processing times.

Yes, but they don't care. I know few applicants personally and they all paid priority and almost 70% still waiting for the decision and its over 5 weeks.

Hi sir, recently i received my CoS on 25th September valid till 25 Dec 2024, but work start date is 01/Oct/2024. Im going to apply now 02/Oct/2024. Will it get rejected?

Write in your cover letter that, you have discussed with the employer and employer is happy for me to start once my visa is granted. Employer also said that I have to start before 1st Dec 2024. Apply priority...if you go back to employer to change date, he needs to request new cos and once that granted he needs to delete this cos and issue you new cos & if its new employer and don't have premium sms option then that can take another few weeks. So best is, just go with this cos but explain in the cover letter.
