A lot of the comments saying Giggs’ verse was weak but he’s good elsewhere but the reality is, if you don’t like this verse, you probably won’t like Giggs period. Yes, there are more bar heavy verses but he’s never been an out and out puncher. It’s all about his laid back carnage and delivery, the style of an OG. Much love but even though I’d love you to check out more Giggs, I don’t think he’d be your cup of tea if you didn’t feel this verse at all!

I actually think on the studio version this is the best verse I've heard from giggs (not usually a fan of his though). But this performance was fucking awful. The bars aren't great, but the feeling on the track was right. He sped it up live and he lost that feeling. Without that or any actual bars he completely let this performance down. The other artists deserved better from him.

By the way bro, Giggs verse was wack - but he's a triple OG in the UK, especially in UK Street Rap. His run when he was still in the trap and rapping about crime on his mixtapes was prolific and esp once he came out of jail. He's not lyrical at all, but because it's real it used to hit hard. Yo you're right about Giggs on this track. Most of his recent stuff is like this but he's got skin in this game. He's an OG (the landlord). His influence on UK music is major. Back when he was active his music was proper. Stylistically, he is known for the laid back energy....it's just his thing. To be clear though he has never been close to man like Wretch, Ghetts, Kano, Chip etc His pen is different, he spoke about the roads in a way that was raw but accessable to those who can't catch the more complex wordplay

Giggs must have really been something back in the day to have created such a platform for himself because his performances are so consistently underwhelming to me. The voice isnt enough to make up for the meh bars, lazy flow, and lack of presence on the track. Only song I've really enjoyed him on is P Money - Where & When.
