Very helpful, thank you. Had a bit of trouble pressing the two clips together, tried pressing the back clip from the float side with my right hand, and the front clip from the other side with left hand, and voila! Our seating washer had half a dozen bubbles in it, that were causing the slow leak (and thus waking us up in the middle of the night when the valve opened to refill a few milli-litres 😫).

Thanks for that, can't thank you enough for posting it, was just about to sling the whole unit out of the window, my little blue lever is jammed over in the open position but the two little arms are closed, hopefully with this help i'll get it sorted :o)

Brilliant. Many thanks. Your demonstration told me both how to remove the flush module (not overly obvious by looking in myself) and by identifying the source of the problem. I found the bobbles on the washer as you described and have popped them. Problem fixed (but I have ordered and will fit a new washer soon). How can a washer, designed to make a seal in water, be affected by water?

Hi there! That was a really great video. I just had a question about the markings A,B,C,D just above the left hand clip, and the and a switch that goes between the + & - signs right next to it. Can you tell me what is the purpose of both?

Good video but these bloody push-button siphons are ridiculously over complex - this one looks like the star ship Enterprise! The simple handle siphons are far superior.

I have the Geberit 236.402.21.1 but there doesn't appear to be any release clips on it so I'm unable to get it off. Any ideas on this?

For that model twist the valve body anti clockwise.
