Thanks for doing this interview with Bernadette, Alex. If it wasn't for her, I would never have started playing the Uke at all. I found her first and she made me feel that I could do it and I did. Love her! I so hope Bernie and her family make it to London or even better to the SUS store. I will be there! Just to say Alex, I love what you do for the Uke community just as much as I do Bernie so that made this interview doubly special. Thanks again Alex.

Bernadette's 30 Day Beginner Uke Challenge really set me off on my ukulele journey and her many varied tutorials are all brilliant, all helpful. And Alex you've sold me some great ukuleles and your reviews are second to none. Thank you both for all that you do. Best wishes.

If it wasn't for Bernadette, I wouldn't be a part of this community. I bought a cheap Mahalo, meticulously searched for someone relatable to teach me the basics and with Bernadette it just clicked. I bought Sakuralele later on, still one of my favourite ukuleles. So thank you Bernadette for everything and, of course, thank you Alex!

Great interview. Well done, both. I've long planned to visit SUS in Bournemouth to say hello in person and see the ukes "in the flesh", but it hasn't happened yet (so thank goodness for e-mail and safe courier postage!). If you set up a visit with Bernadette in a year or two and make it a public do of some sort, I'd love to come along. Bernadette's channel was one of my lockdown finds. Not only did she help me to counter my flagging uke mojo (along with UkeJamUK and Anne Ku) but she helped me to improve my playing. It'd be nice to say thank you in person.

I rarely watch interviews like this but I find it like eating peanuts. I can’t stop watching. So warm and honest. Thank you to both of you! Wes

Great interview with Bernadette. Two of my fave ukulele folks on the same podcast. I would have likely give up the instrument if I had not found her page. Learned more in her 30 day challenge than I had in trying to learn through KZbin in 6 months. I found you and SUS through Bernadette; so full circle.
