I was freshly 18 when this song came out, remember blasting it in my car, at my friends parents place when they went out of town and he would throw crazy parties. Simpler times, kinda miss it.

Love this track, especially the chorus and the dub-bass, the only thing I didn't like was the vocals, I thought they were a bit out of place, other than that though, epic tune!

Lmao yea because the opinion of dude that went viral through a meme and only ever made one good track (breakstorm) matters
@bosine94312 жыл бұрын
@@eloelo6944 you're relying to an 11 year old comment. Also the fact that you had to add (Breakdown) to your comment proves that he has more than 1 good song. Maybe you only like one song but thats just you.

@Hybrid259 Speed garage and 2step in the UK were born at the height of the popularity of jungle, copying the bass-lines, fast tempo (though much slowed down), ragga vocals (with frequent MC accompaniment) and production techniques. They may be referred to as descendants of drum and bass and at one time drove drum and bass into relative obscurity.

To everyone confused on the origin of Dubstep, It originated in UK Drm N Bass.... It just has half time (or even slower) drum passages to create that swinging effect. Cheers from Texas.

@UndeadPendulum Yeah but maybe she has never heard of the song before but has heard other songs by Nero and liked them a lot so when I said the song was by Nero, she assumed she would like this one as well because she was hearing the song before the drop came.
@FluffeeSatan13 жыл бұрын
@softbreeze941 it's drum n bass bro, dubstep is regularly 140 bpm, this is 170 bpm. dubstep is also usually 2-step. that's what makes it so chilled out. DnB is usually 1 or 4 step, making it more energetic. they're completely different genres man with elements making the two so different. ...sorry i'm extremely baked and i wanted to explain something. lol.
@JunglisticOne13 жыл бұрын
This artist shows his well rounded talents, when it comes to the genre of drum and bass. The repetitive vocals start to throw you off until... Ding Dong! - The Warp drops by your ears, for a spell of good-e-nes, with his pal, Electro-BASS! The song progresses with staying power like a brand new supercharged engine. The intermission is great n' decent. I could go on and on like the vocals, in this song, telling you how much I enjoy this piece But alas I only have 2 more characters left!

@Hybrid259 [12][13][50][51] Grime and dubstep, their descendants, have driven these genres underground whilst drum and bass has survived and evolved. Dubstep combines sounds of 2step with the deep basslines and the reggae vibe of early jungle.
@applecat9112 жыл бұрын
@Torkan91 the song is called "act like you know" so I highly doubt you will find a version without those lyrics... the best I can suggest is the dubstep version which doesn't repeat itself as much as this but if you're not into dub then that's the best I got...

This is DnB!!!!! i recommend all of u who think this is dubstep to actually go listen to the dubstep version of it!!!!! music like dnb and dubstep is defined by the beat-the rythmn that the 'boom' and the 'clap' has!

@Nettykk It can't actually be done :) to make a 140 bpm song in time with a 170bpm song means you would have to pitch it up like +5 semi tones. Dj's still drop them after each other but never play them at the same time. 140 bars per minute over 170 bars per minute would take about 10 seconds to drift out of time and after 20 seconds would sound a right mess.

@Tom123Pendulum well D'n'B sometimes makes me calm too but in most cases the bass makes me move, and same thing with Dubstep! It's kinda all about how I'm feeling at the moment :) honestly first genre of music that i started listening is Drum and Bass, later that evolved to Dubstep, Rave, Hardstyle, and lot's of other stuff!
