FAQ's - Motorola Defy - Satellite Link - what is going on?

Took mine on a road trip from California to Texas. Was pinging occasionally while on the road through 4 states. The device was able to connect and send/receive messages. My contract expires in July. As you mentioned, compared to other plans below, as long as they are able to maintain service, it’s a small cost for me to pay the freedom plan for on the go satellite service for another year.

I am in the USA. Is there a functioning customer service number for them in the USA? I want to roll over to the "Freedom" plan after my free 1 year plan runs out by the end of the month. However, that option is nowhere to be found online while I am trying to purchase, and customer service calls are no longer going through.

The contract renewal for my Defy shows 30/07/2024 on the bulitt website... Will this automatically renew at the higher rate through RDC? Ah, I see now that you don't ever respond to comments... sad.

Sorry to you believe we are not answering comments on our KZbin channel, I hope you reconsider as this is not the case. A UK business helping the world overcome the tech questions, I personally think we should be commended for this rather than critisised. Anyway moving on - Bullitt/ Motorola - renewing subscriptions - 1. If you have left your credit/ debit card in place in the subscription portal i.e. you have not removed this, it will automatically renew on your current plan (at the same price). So no action needed. 2. If you have removed your credit/ debit card details or want to change plans - - On the Bullitt app go to - three white lines (top Left) > Subscriptions and this takes you to the subscriptions portal (online) - Login - If you have a ‘active’ plan do not ‘+ add a new plan’, if this is what you want to do, without cancelling your old one - Manage > Actions > Cancel - If you are signing up for a new plan you will need your iccid code which you will find on the box your device came in I hope this helps.

So I guess I'll scratch this off the purchase list? Financial stability no different than giving $5 to a homeless guy. Imagine having service cut out when you're relying on this in the field. Going with a stable firm such as Garmin.
