Sub: Demand for a Separate State of Government Administration Between the Meitei and the Naga territories in the state of Manipur is the need of the hour which lead the roads to Naga solution under Articles - 3 of the Indian Constitution. Sir, I as a mere fellow citizen of Nagas and on my own behalf I would like to appeals just a few words of mine at this hours. We Nagas had enough suffered under the foot of Meiteis Government since Manipur attained it's statehood on 21.1.1972. Since after 51 years of Manipur statehood. Meitei government neglected to take up the development works in the tribals hills region of Nagas for many years. Naga region are remained like as jungle till today like in the time of our early forefathers lived. There are no proper roads, no hospital, no government offices, no jobs, no service, no proper school, no education, no proper electrician, no water supply, nothing. I observed myself. What are happened to this? Are this been lapsed on the part of Nagas due to their ignorance? or shall we blame the Meitei for not bringing development to the Nagas? Yes, I must blame the Meitei government mostly. Meitei government took the advantaged of all the tribal people been the ignorance of them. State is means not only for the people of Meitei alone but it belong to all the people of the citizen, the right to exercise all powers of the government administration and welfare of the state, equal share, equal status and equal privileged of government facilities, for development and prosperity of the people of the state. Meitei government have well developed in their city. Every government offices, jobs, service, development schemes, monetary benefits, several funds of budget allocation of grants of the state as given by the government of India from time to time everything are belong to them. There are 60 seats of MLAs, 40 seats are taken away by them and 20 seats MLAs for the hill tribals people only. That is too much and not justified. The Meitei people took advantaged of all, forgetting the tribals people share. Meitei are very cunning people, jealous and very stingy people. They are hard hearted people to deals with them. To love or to help the needy people. They don't have human care with them. They blockage the Naga Solution and going against the Naga will. In the light of above, we appeals to the government of India to kindly take up the matter on top priority basis for bifurcation of a separate Naga state in Manipur under Article -3 of the Indian Constitution or to signed the final ink agreement for Naga solution is our option to live in peace for growth and prosperity. With regards.
