you use the right idol in the thumbnail but just be careful bc some of the master-nim (ppl who take photos) usually don't want their photo used without credit. sorry for the long comments. thank you for the clips!

@kazclips yes, i think pics from news outlet more acceptable bc some of the master-nim oftentimes banned ppl who use their photos. np! thanks for the clip once again!

@@kazclips dont worry about it bestie~ as long as you include credit in the description, everything will be fine. next time if uki talks about another kpop group, in the description, try to put “photo belongs to ‘group name’ and ‘label name’.” also, im not sure what op is talking about, but you won’t be banned for putting a kpop group in the thumbnail. other KZbinrs do that as well. If you include clips and music from the kpop group, to prevent getting copyrighted, youll need to include the official credit for the group and label.

@@baaltastic8557not really. As someone that have been following kpop for more than 10years, I can assure you that some fansites doesnt allow people to use their pictures of the idols for commercial use, and that includes youtube thumbnails or youtube videos. And no, giving credit doesnt mean that it will resolve the situation. They are actually quite organized behind the scene. There are numerous channels in the past that were mass reported because the masternims of some fansites found out about their works being used on youtube videos, proceeded to talk about it on their side acc, then it got taken down. The analogy is like a fanartists of a vtuber finding out their artwork were used by clipping channels instead of the vtuber they drawn for, and they ask the clippers to take it down. And for pictures that were taken by specific photoshoots or by the company, it can be viewed as theirs and they can actually flag your videos because of it even tho its rare. Its not a mew and unknown thing tho, a lot of medias have been doing this since ages ago, esp European countries with pictures of fashion history. Thats why often times when you scour for those kind of videos, multiple channels will kept using the same pictures over and over, because they can get flagged or striked by using copyrighted materials even if it is just pictures. So if you want to play super safe so your contents wont be flagged esp because you monetized your channel, its better if you use press or news pictures. Just an extra caution.
