UKIP leader Henry Bolton tells Julia Hartley-Brewer he has ended “the romantic aspect” of his relationship with former girlfriend Jo Marney, who he claims is suicidal after derogatory comments she made on Meghan Markle were revealed by a Sunday newspaper.

This interviewer is priceless! She should be in a court of law. That is amongst the MOST skilled questioning I have witnessed in a long long time. Getting the man to reveal himself for his true colours to the point where we no longer have to speculate. What a mess he is. How could he possibly lead a political party when he can't even stay with his kids for Christmas. I feel sorry for his real family that he has humiliated. I hope he has the decency to support them too.

On knowing a partner's views on black people and race etc, you can then make a judgement. But my point is who on earth goes on a few dates and asks, "So what music do you like?
