Putin: The Kyiv leaders are now completely illegitimate, they are usurpers and do not even have the right to give orders to the army. Decision-making centers in Kyiv can become targets for the Oreshnik. The Iskander is an analogue of all three modifications of the ATACMS, while the range of the Russian system is even greater. The new American missiles are inferior to the Russian ones in their characteristics. X-101, Kalibr are missiles the same as the Storm Shadow and Taurus.

After 1 month Trump will be in power so hopefully there will be an end to the war through negotiations. This report was the first I heard that Russkies notified NATO and US prior to launching the IRBM. That's sensible, because without prior warning, the US (and maybe also UK and France) are programmed to launch retaliatory nukes (on Moscow, etc) within minutes of detecting nukes coming out of Russia. Same for nukes fired out of N.Korea or China.

Great reporting. A few questions from me: 1. Is it correct that there are natural resources of strategic importance in the occupied territories? 2. Is it correct that the average age of russian soldiers has increased from 21 years to 38 years? and will this have an impact on their survival rate during the coming winter? 3. How can the Russians continue with at this pace when their ammunition depots and logistic hubs are bombed? 4. Are the newly conquered areas of strategic importance? 5, Will it not be harder for the Russians to defend more territory ones it is conquered, thus stretching the lines and getting further away from supplies?
@marksmith92182 сағат бұрын
1. Yes, estimated 18.5 trillion dollars worth. 2. Attacking generally requires significantly more man power than defending irrespective of age. 3. The current pace is unsustainable but probably increased due to secure a good negotiating position pre trump. 4 Yes to attempt to control exports from Ukraine. 5. Yes, it will be like Northern Irelandd on steroids for decades to come. Probably result in economy collapse or regime change at some point, the rouble is collapsing as we speak.

At 2) I know it takes more to attack than defend, but my question referred to if these "old" men - by Russian standard - having to survive in the trenches this coming winter. It's going to be extremely cold and wet. Do they have the right equipment, food, medicine, discipline and health to survive a winter? Alcohol can easily kill you under these conditions. Are they too long from their supply lines? can the Ukrainians bomb their supplies etc.? My gut feeling is that Putin is gambling on Trump handing him over a semi victory based on a Russian bluff. Despite the signals sent by the Trump camp, it hard to believe that they could be so stupid not to call Putin's bluff. If Trump is serous about getting the oil price down below $40 a barrel and supplying Europe with more LNG, then I simply don't see how Russia can keep this war going another year. The Russian economy could even crash before Trump is inaugurated. You never know. When it happens. It happens very suddenly and fast. The little information we have of the Russian economy looks very bad even though we can count on the numbers being false. The ruble has fallen even more to the Euro since the Dollar has fallen to the Euro, thus the collapse of the ruble is even worse. The interest rate is already 21 percent so it looks really bad for Russia. Their only hope is for Trump to do the worst deal of 1000 years, and that's a huge gamble.

@@kasperchristiansen4234 Yes I agree with everything you are saying and an economic crash is likely to come at some point and unfold quickly. With regards to older men, it would be a problem on both sides so I don't think that factor alone weighs in favour of Ukraine, especially as Russia has 3x more human resources to draw upon. However ukraine is in an existential fight for survival so you could argue that they have greater motivation to defend than a typical Russian invader who will be fighting for the promise of money mainly.
@kasperchristiansen4234Сағат бұрын
@@marksmith9218 I actually think that Ukraine is lowering the conscription age to 25 and below while Russia is dependent on older and older men and malnourished North Koreans. I hope the Ukrainians are better dressed and equipped and closer to supply lines to cope with the winter. Besides, if the Russians keep attacking while the Ukrainians defend, kill and retreat to new defensive lines, then every meter will be costly for the Russians. Did you read that Putin had to cut the financial aid to wounded soldiers?

Judging by the video... the re-entry vehicle has multiple warheads. And yet strike a relatively small area. MIRV's are supposedly independently targetable. I believe the Russian missle is somewhat lacking.

Russia struck targets in Ukraine overnight using 90 missiles and over 100 drones in response to recent ATACMS attacks. Russia produces 10 times more missiles than all NATO countries combined. “The Iskander ballistic missile is an analogue of all three modifications of the American ATACMS, while the range of the Russian system is even greater.” “The Russian Kh-101 missile is an analogue of the British Storm Shadow, the French SCALP and the German Taurus.” “Russia’s hypersonic systems have no analogues in the world.” Decision-making centers in Kyiv may become targets for the Oreshnik. The General Staff and the Ministry of Defense are currently selecting targets for the Oreshnik on Ukrainian territory, Putin said. Russia has several Oreshnik missiles ready for use. “In the event of a massive use of the Oreshnik missiles, its power will be comparable to the use of nuclear weapons.” Details of the Oreshnik operation: Dozens of homing warheads attack the target at a speed of 10 Mach (about 3 km/s). The temperature of the striking elements reaches + 4000°C (5-6 thousand degrees on the surface of the Sun). Therefore, everything that is in the epicenter of the explosion turns to dust. The Oreshnik destroys even highly protected and deep-seated objects. The Oreshnik is not a weapon of mass destruction, but the power of the strike of a “cluster” of missiles will be comparable to the use of nuclear weapons. Putin compared the strike of the Oreshnik to the fall of a meteorite, from which entire lakes are formed. “The missile hits targets 3-4 floors down, even in fortified structures.” We will have our own response to each target in Ukraine. We will not shoot sparrows with a cannon.” The Russian Federation will use all available means of destruction in the event that Ukraine receives nuclear weapons. The President recalled that he warned NATO about the use of long-range missiles on Russian territory. Russia has begun serial production of the Oreshnik, Putin said. Russia's hypersonic systems have no analogues in the world, and their production is being increased. In the event of a massive use of the Oreshnik, the force of the strike will be comparable to nuclear weapons. Decision-making centers in Kyiv could become a target for the Oreshnik. There are no analogues to the Russian Oreshnik in the world, and they will not appear anytime soon, Putin said. He noted that Russia was forced to use the Oreshnik in response to the enemy's actions.

Russia needs to get out of Ukraine. The Russian military is not nearly as strong as we thought. Vlad the invader made a big mistake invading Ukraine, hard for dictators to admit that.

The mention of Himars launchers being destroyed is a claim that's been seen in Russian media, but verifying this information can be tricky because reports often vary and contradict each other. A lot of these claims come without independent verification. So at this makes your comment redundant

Incredible, absolutely incredible, if Ukraine does take heed of this new weapon, and continues to fire Western weapons into Russian territory then I guess its just Darwinism from that point onwards.

Ukraine needs long range hybrid cruise missiles that release anti air missiles that can reach these bomber aircraft. So say the cruise missile has a range of 1,000 km and the anti air 30 km. I guess effectively a one way drone with air to air engagement capability. So say each missile could carry say 4 air to air missiles etc...
@JoeyBlogs0073 сағат бұрын
The drone could function as a normal cruise missile also by simply arming the anti air and either using them as air to ground individually launched or used as a one punch missile by flying directly into the target with the onboard missiles fully armed and ready to react to G-forces of colliding with the ground target as the ignition trigger.

Zelensky continues to cause the Ukrainan people untold hardship, you can believe that Zelensky is not suffering from the power outages, nor will his homes or his wealth be affected by the war, he will abscond to some safe country and live in luxury after the war.

The Russian Armed Forces destroyed three Himars launchers in the Sumy region of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost at least 30 soldiers, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
