What's untrue? What Zvallid did was take known facts and legitimate Russian claims and spin it to look like they are the good guys from the media's point of view. As the old expression goes "it takes two to tango". Victoria Nuland recently admitted to congress that we have numerous bio-weapons labs in the Ukraine, Putin has warned us for years that he doesn't want NATO nukes on his border, and likewise there have been reports of pogroms against ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine. Crimea actually voted to stay witht he Russian Federation, but it was Obama screaming "rigged elections" with little to no evidence to back it up. I'm not saying that Russia is right or justified in what they are doing, but to listen to our demonic media it sounds like Putin woke up with a wild hair up his ass one morning and said "Let's go invade Ukraine for the hell of it and have some fun". Nuh uh... nope... sorry!

@@hankhill5622 The US did invade Irak, with no justified reason, but never intended to annex it like Russia is doing in parts of Ukraine. For the rest of Ukraine, Russia is trying to submit it like the puppet-state Belarus. Belarus is a so-called independent state, but is working de facto as a Russian province. That is what Ukraine doesn't want to become.

Despite their partnership, Lukashenko makes decisions on his own and more against Putin's will than West actually think - he was one of the major reasons why proposals of creating Eurasian Union failed miserably in the first place. Belarus status with Moscow isn't much different than with any other russian-friendly countries in the world, like Syria or Kazakhstan.

An example is how the people in Kasachstan were "normal democratic freedom fighters" but the people in the donbass are "brutal seperatists". It's also interesting how the Nato judges the bombing and civillian casualities after what they did in Jugoslawia, the Balkan and the middle east.

The world is a confusing place. And unfortunately we can't just choose the one right path. It doesn't matter how brutal or justified a war is, it's still a waste of human life, and both sides will lie about each other with varying degrees of truth and deception. Even if the Donbass separatists are justified in their fight for independence, they're still siding with and agreeing to be annexed by a Dictatorship. And while the Ukrainians are pretty obviously the victims, not all Ukrainians are innocent. NATO isn't the great savior of the free world, and Russia and China aren't the destructive monsters of another land. Every country is guilty of something horrible, but also has something good. It's much less about picking the most righteous country(ies), it's about choosing the lesser of 2 or more evils.
