@@selah71 About 15 years ago I knew an American that had a habit of drinking and going online giving people on forums with quite rude replies and even death threats. He did this to forum member (death threats) and the victim made some calls and 2 FBI agents showed up to read the riot act to this drunken fool. He has been polite ever since. I would think that during a time of war....if a country was invaded that this 5 column would be of concern. Look what the US did to innocent Japanese Americans during WW2. People need to think before they post on social media.

Really, it isn't hard to be polite on social media, let alone not to make threats if the person is sane and sober. Thank you for sharing! ✌️

The Romans understood the danger of treason! This is attributed to the Roman Jurist CICERO over 2000 years ago : "A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly against the city. But the traitor moves among those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears no traitor; he speaks in the accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their garments, and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation; he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city; he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared."

Sometimes there isn't an accurate translation going from one language to English for certain words. "cured" usually means the "patient" will be healthier prior to the treatment. Somehow I doubt this will be the case. Traitors are usually the lowest of the low during a conflict and I can confidently say that the cameras were the only thing between these men and a stomping.

This is a perfect example of why you never form opinions based on media reports. What people should be focusing on is how this all started & what was the cause instead of supporting Russia or Ukraine based on some media report. After you learn enough facts you can then decide who you support if you want to support either side or not.

@@sojrnrr8368 They are deemed traitors, as someone here in the comments said, they deserve to be put up for firing squad. I merely repeat what others think. Majority say, firing line. If you don't fear your government, you won't follow their orders. They don't have the respect of their people, not the majority, so they need to resort to a secondary mean. Unless people respect their government, you need to resort to intimidation to get them to obey. It appears to be the truth sadly, as others agree. Even if the government is corrupt, they say to finish this war first, this war of independence, the irony they are preventing the east from gaining independence.
