The intensification efforts Ukraine is doing in Kursk to increase its advance is stupid as the Russians are actively attacking their flanks especially around sudzha. The main route for equipment, men and supplies into the Kursk incursion for Ukraine is through the town of Sudzha which is a major logistics center since many major road ways come together there if the Russians take it every single unit of equipment in Kursk that belongs to Ukraine will effectively be encircled.

В чем смысл этой операции? Потерять людей ради пиара, показать Штатам свои старания , что бы дали оружие. А сколько еще потеряют? Если Россия это заберет, то металлургия Украины кончится. А что ценного забрала Украина в Курске? Ничего, только пиар для Зелинского огромные потери.

They will hold them indefinitely. The seemingly small advances are due to the nature of warfare, where only small elite squads can engage and push to avoid said casualties. Moreover, mutinies grow among the Ukrainian ranks. This was a battle of attrition unfortunately, and ofc the larger Russia ends up on top. Furthermore, its hard to understand the scale when seen on maps, but the fields they are capturing are large. Each day Russia captures perhaps 2 to 4km^2 at least
