You shouldn't have been. During the USSR days, the Russians controlled all of Eastern Europe and All of Central Asia.... with more than twice as many people as Russia is right now, in over-all population. Almost all military weapons, including ICBMs, created by TENS OF MILLIONS of workers during the USSR days.... have been squirreled away by the Russians, once the USSR collapsed in the early 1990s. If the Ukrainians, as part of the USSR but as one of the most sophisticated missile, ship, and highly industrialized centers of the USSR had, for example, said, "No, we are keeping the ICBM we currently have in Ukraine," when the USSR broke apart in the 1990s, there's no chance the Russians could have done anything about it. Invading a people (like the Ukrainians) having ICBMs... is different from invading one (the same Ukrainians) without them.

Theres something not right about this war from a Ukraine perspective. How in the hell after two and a half years of being attacked and slowly conquered is the minimum draft age just lowered to 25 ? Is this some kind of phoney war going on or what ever? You would think any country elsewhere on this planet in the same position would be all in in the protection of there country. You dont have to move these 18 and over troops to the front lines but they could be doing logistic work ect far from the front and freeing up able veteran service men. Russians in WW2 also had many thousands of women fighting on the front lines to save there country from the Germans when they were invaded. Whats Ukraines problem today? Same situation. Ukrainians seemed to be fixed on casualties. They do not want to assault a position if there going to take substantial casualties. But this is war as ugly as it is and this is what you have to do to take high ground. The Russians have no problem with this and they slowly chew up territory. Unless something changes in the near future where Ukraine is going to go all in and not sit on a fence then i think this war for Ukraine is going to be lost no matter the amount of aid the West delivers. Look im just saying what maybe what a lot of people are thinking..
