Fantastic!! My only criticism is that you ID’d the area in Ukraine where these are produced. That seems unnecessary. And potentially risky.

Agreed. They show too much in many videos. Military intelligence look for all things. Even a vehicle licence plate shown can be a bad idea in many ways. It can be tracked and in some countries the vehicle registration number has a number in it which is regional. So that is a give away too.

At 2:15 you see on that screen that two ranges of frequencies are jammed. Most probably 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz which are the usual ranges for normal consumer grade drones.

The GPS carrier isn't incredibly broadband (for that range of wavelengths) and the 2.4GHz band is well-known. It doesn't have to emit radiation that can interfere with anything else, nor would that be a good idea.

For commercial drones, sure, but would it defeat anti-jamming capabilities of the military drones, especially ones using LOS EM emissions? Plus, military drones are unlikely to just land or stop and be carried off by wins, they're likely to have fallback measures that would allow them to return to base, even with GPS/glonass blocked. Or does this device have other than EM jamming capabilities? It's still a very useful tool, it just seams that it's effect is easily mitigated.

Helicopters and planes usually have inertial reference systems as a backup to give you your position, so that you can navigate even if systems like GPS or ground radio stations are not available. They don't require any transmission (they are based on gyroscopes and accelerometers), so you can't interfere with them. You will need something like an EMP pulse to fry their electronics, and the only practical devices that could do that at the moment are nuclear bombs. It would be much easier to just blind the pilots with lasers. However, doing that is a war crime.

So sad to see the price. As an Electrical Engineer, that price is insane. It's not rocket science, you are only transmitting all frequencies at a high power. A spark generator would do the trick. Drones still use 80 year old radio tech. It should only cost about 200USD w/batteries. This guy should be ashamed. I guess I need to start making these and shipping to Ukraine. Not like we did not fall for guys like this in the US, we paid $600 for a hammer a while back.

yh, if they manage to create drones which have an automated flight system and when it reaches coordinates it releases whatever bombs or maybe kamikaze would be better. problem is, if enemy gets ahold of drone having disabled it using a rifle like shown in video, they could hack into the drone and the route could maybe be backtracked to the senders location or smth. but ye a lot of variables possible but seems expensive and risky to create such a type of system.
