It has been intresting to watch Russia underperforming while Ukraine is overperforming. Russia not being able to defend its own territory has shown the world that Russia is weaker than anyone expected although Russian military got a warning already a year ago while being unable to respond during late Prigozin march towards Moscow.
@djondoow22172 ай бұрын
Hmm, is 'Russian underperforming" really ? We only see that Putler is not doing everything in his power to expel the Ukrainians from Kursk. If he would do everything in his power to do so, we could see it in the Donbas region where the Russians continue to advance. Perhaps Putler is not in a hurry to expel the Ukrainians from the Kursk region and first wants to advance as far as possible into the Donbas. The Kursk region is of later concern to him. I guess. Napoleon and Hitler also bled dry on their long supply lines by Russia. Is Ukraine overperforming ? I agree with that. Ukrainian commanders are complaing in the Donbas region that the shelling of the Russians is 10 (Russian) to 1 . (Ukrainian). Apart from this lack of ammo, Ukraine can never continue to produce as much 'cannonfodder' as the Russians can.

Ukrainian commanders in the Donetsk region apparently are complaining about the lack of ammo/shells ( : The Sun)Russians are shelling out the Ukrainians 10 : 1 . If it was indeed the intention of the Ukrainians to withdraw Russian troops from the Donbas, it has not succeeded so far and because the Ukrainians are deploying their strongest troops in Kursk, are they not creating self their own soft underbelly in the Donbas?

@kallejarvinen468 - exactly right. Russia has proven to the world that their military is inept, incompetent, and running out of things. They haven’t changed their military doctrine since the 1500s and it always results in heavy losses for them. World War II, for example, the USSR lost millions when they really didn’t have to, just stop using these human meat wave attacks. It’s so ancient and archaic. Ukraine has indeed been overperforming, or rather, performing as we expected because they have been trained by NATO, WHICH HAS 21st century military doctrine and it is evolving all the time. I am not at all surprised that Ukraine has invaded russian territory somsuccessfully. It is apparently more important to putin to try and gobble up more of Ukraine territory (which NATO will never allow them to keep, of course) instead of defending his own people. Honestly, the people of Kursk are now finding out how much better the invading Ukrainians are treating them than the retreating russian military (which evacuated themselves but left the civilians behind).

Western European economies dwarf Russia’s, so, in light of the fact that Ukraine is fighting on behalf of ALL of free Europe why aren’t ALL Western European nations on a war footing and providing Ukraine with everything it needs that America isn’t currently providing?

I've been very impressed with every previous video of yours that I've watched, and said as much in comments, but this time you left out four rather important details. One: you failed to mention that the ferry the Ukrainians sank was a "rail ferry" of utmost importance for re-supplying fuel for Russian equipment, and two, that it was the third and final rail car ferry of its type in the region, the Ukrainians having previously sank the first two, and since their two strikes on the Kerch Straight Bridge have made rail passage of heavy loads impossible, Russia is screwed on that front, except to bring fuel by way of the in-striking-distance land road from the mainland. Three: though you mentioned Ukrainian strikes on oil infrastructure, you didn't specifically mention the absolutely massive fire from drone strikes on the huge fuel storage depot that has been burning for over a week now, consuming more tanks daily, that the inept Russian fire brigades can't even get close enough to fight-- and even brought Russian Orthodox priests in to ask God for help! Really!-- and they don't have the ability to fight that type of fire even if they could get close. Four: you didn't mention the devastating strike on the Russian airbase that took out multiple fighter jets and other facilities at the base. Also, it's been shown in at least two milblogs (that I watch) that Ukraine DID decimate a Russian convoy heading to Kursk a few days ago, with some geolocated (Russian locals') footage of the aftermath to corroborate (I think that footage was included on The Enforcer milblog, and maybe on Jake Broe's milblog, or Artur Rehi's milblog, it was days ago, so I'm not sure whose blogs I saw it on-- but I do recommend you check out those three milblogs, as they don't tend to embellish their stories and generally shoot straight with the updates).

If Ukraine were to invade Belarus and capture a nuclear weapon, would the Russians use a nuclear weapon to try and destroy it? Thank you
@jeromestarkey2 ай бұрын
Hi, thus far: no evidence that I have seen of patriots being used in Russia, although there was unconfirmed reports that a patriot may have been used to down a Russian surveillance aircraft over the Sea of Azov some months ago. In Kursk, defence is proven "easier" than attack in this conflict. It wouldn't necessarily need to stockpile inside Kursk as the supply lines are relatively short. I think question 3 is so beyond the realms of possibility that I cannot speculate accurately. I do not think Ukraine wants to invade Belarus (they have categorically warned Belarus not to invade Ukraine, which is also highly unlikely).

Most of the allies are talking a big game, but there is a gap between rhetoric and reality atm. Russia is on a war footing. Nato countries are not. They are ramping up production while simultaneously trying to buy in ammunition from third parties (in part, because they need Soviet calibre shells for Ukraine's Soviet era guns)
@IronMan-if4ke2 ай бұрын
Thanks Jerome. Absolutely astounding to me that NATO countries are still reacting as if they’re stuck in the old Cold War mentality while Putin has made it crystal clear in action that he is taking Russian aggression to a whole new level vs. Europe. NATO should take Putin and Trump’s words and actions to heart and move quickly as if they are alone facing Russia. That means spending much higher levels of their GDP on defense and ramping up a new defense strategy. Here in the U.S. , DJT has also spelled out a ‘new’ vision of American foreign policy: basically a return to the 1930’s policy of isolation (let Europe deal with European problems). NATO should react accordingly and quickly.

Sklaviki Ukraina Population. The danger for Ukraine was an over-expansion of the front due to Russian invasions in the north (such as in Kharkiv). The Ukrainians have now taken that away from the Russians by invading almost unmanned territory, getting lost there, and losing material and personnel that they urgently needed to defend the rest of the front. If it wasn't Russian strategy, they couldn't have come up with a better idea. In the first few days, every strategist was surprised. Now it's suddenly supposed to be a masterstroke by the Ukrainians, followed by the Zelensky credo: More weapons, more money! More weapons, more money! More weapons, more money! Of course, to end the war... My headline is nonsense. It might help the comment to stay. Otherwise it will be thrown out by KI. What does that tell you? Are you in a propaganda chanel?

We should be able to send troops to Ukraine, only Ukraine even to defend that land from invasion. Happy Independence Ukraine from the UK. Ukraine has a future, Russia does not. Ukraine should be able to use the weapons given to them where they like, since when is using a weapon based on the manufacturer of the weapons approval, rather than military objective. How far does this ridiculous concept go, what about the component parts manufacturers, I know the EU/US want to tread carefully and not escalate the war but WTF!? 😎☠✌

Shut up How many troops does the UK have. Exactly, shut up. Understand there's swarms of men that wouldn't fight for a woke POS place like the UK... The opposite, we'd fight for Russia.

Ukraine abandons the eastern front so they can waste their best nato trained troops to take meaningless ground near kursk which they'll NEVER be able to hang onto or evacuate. They've only faught border guards and police, the actual Russia military will have them surrounded once their logistics are stretched to the limit. I think Z was forced to pull this PR to justify more $$.

Sun Tzu was pretty clear, 2500 years ago, that it is better to fight your enemy where they are weak, not where they are strong.

@@michaelmadsen3696They are just desperate… they can’t accept the fact that they are getting their butts whooped by Ukraine, so they make the false claim that somehow all of NATO is responsible, not just Ukraine. It’s their way of soothing the bruised ginormous russian ego…

The amount of aid Ukraine has received is incredibly small. The US Alone spends like 8x the global aid to Ukraine on it's military every year. If Russia is getting licked because NATO is giving Ukraine a teensy boost Russia needs to submit to NATO because NATO is worlds beyond them.

The Ukrainian Kursk operation is failing to achieve any of its objectives, as they squander some of their best brigades in there without air support. All while Ukrainian front lines collapse elsewhere in Chasiv yar, Nu york and approaching the city of Pokrovsk.
