I like how everyone says that Ukraine is investing money in Eurovision, when it's just the opposite. Usually the artists themselves pay for stuff. There are very good specialists and low salaries in Ukraine, that's it. For example, the entire Selection with numbers, costumes, production and everything cost less than 200k Euro (I'm shocked) when other selections cost millions and do not look that good

Yes, it's not a big price at all, but you know, the "joke" is that some people in Ukraine were still not happy that so much money was spent. Because if this amount is converted into hryvnia (our national currency), it will be almost 11 million. And as a result, people were outraged that such money was spent on "meaningless songs" while this money could have been donated to the Armed Forces or bought a dozen drones for them. But they don't seem to know that Alyona and Jerry are constantly organizing fundraisers for the Armed Forces of Ukraine P.S. I think this reaction of people is also due to the fact that some people in Ukraine believe that singing, dancing or any expression of emotions other than sadness, anxiety and sorrow is now prohibited due to the war. This is certainly not good for these people and sometimes for society.
