Which include but not limited to, a mobilization, massive increases to sign on bonuses, recruiting murderers and rapists from prisons with promises of amnesty, snatching people of the streets (primarily dissidents and immigrants), tricking foreigners to come to Russia and sign contracts, creating new infantry units from other branches of the military like the Navy, getting help from North Korea........ If the goal of this invasion was to actually liberate the Donbass, then: - It wouldn't have been an invasion, but perhaps negotiations in order to give Donetsk and Luhansk administrative freedom in Ukraine; - Russia would've stopped its invasion in the two regions instead of trying to go directly for Kyiv. Not to mention how this war has only brought destruction to the Donbass instead of benefitting it.

And the goal isn't just to protect the Donbass, but demilitarize Ukraine and make sure it doesn't enter Nato. And you can blame the west for the destruction, who shot down an attempt at a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine early on

NK is not fighting on the ground this is pure propaganda used to justify long range strikes into Russia. Russians complained about the language barrier, about the poor health of North Koreans, and the sheer incompetence in basic instructions. Russian sources spoke of incidents with grenades where North Koreans in training almost finished the training sessions for everyone right then and there!
