These guys truly are absolutely magnificent. Along with the medics, these dynamic engineers are the backbone of the Armed Forces. I really hope they continue to get enough vehicles donated as well as enough money raised so they can continue to get them themselves. Sad that the average life expectancy of their vehicles is sometimes three months. All the hard work gone, but if you can keep the men and women safe, then it is worth it. Keep pushing on Bros. You can bloody well do this. We all believe in you.

It's amazing how innovative the Ukrainians have been in this war. Now these "Mad Max" vehicles, I can imagine them being used in the Ukrainians *"Thunder runs"* on Russian positions, going in full speed guns blazing, wrecking havoc in the Russian's lines. The problem is not the underlying vehicle dying or breaking from rough "roads"/abuse. The problem is they are getting shot to s**t. A heavy machine gun, or mine doesn't care if the vehicle is a Toyota or not, the bullet / shrapnel goes through and breaks "stuff" even if there is light DIY armor on it.

Ukraine lost almost all heavy armor it had at the beginning of the war. It has to rely on western supplies and unarmored trucks (ISIS style).

Funny, yet we are still using heavy armour vehicles on the front lines with pickup trucks since 2014. Pick up trucks is nothing new for us since we have been using them since 2016. But still, what is the obsession with Russians saying that “Ukraine lost all of this” and “Ukraine lost all of that” if you can see them being used on the front lines while Ukraine isn’t asking for that stuff

Even according to extremely pro-ukrainian Ursula von der Leyen (president of the European Commission) Ukraine lost more than 100 000 soldiers only KIA (real figures are more than 160 000 KIA and more than 255 000 WIA). These are catastrophic losses for Ukraine.
