Not sure what is going on here, but as far as I know the F 14 was decommissioned in the early 90’s, maybe 80’s. Iran still has some of these aircraft, and I am by no means a pilot or military person. The Tomcats wings would shift, or whatever the technical terms are. I assure you this is no F14!

This is what the original movie “Top Gun” had used. Good that Ukraine got F-14 Tomcat. But how, never heard yet. What in the current news said, the F-16 S are to be deployed in Ukraine, but need to train its pilots rigorously, to be sure to support Ukraine after Zelensky’s request. Hope the war will settle down, not unless Putin will lay low his pride and concede.

The only country that bought 79 pieces of F14 Tomcat almost 45 years ago is Iran and despite proven fighter jet during 10 years of war, it was taken out of service in America in 2006 but Iran has upgraded them with many more options, it could that Ukraine managed to shoot down a Mig 29 but not sure by a 14 Tomcat because new ones no longer exist even in America or Iran. It's computer made dogfight looks at cockpit and the pilot's hands his left hand doesn't even move to increase speed and he doesn't even have special gloves, don't believe what your eyes see.
