Ukraine’s new military recruitment law: Zelenskyy signs bill to boost army numbers

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a new bill into law, aimed at boosting troop numbers for the war against Russia.
The new law requires potential conscripts to update their data with the authorities.
It also increases payments to volunteers and adds new punishments for dodging draft.

Well, Volodymyr Zelenskyy apparently did not serve in military service, I guess anywhere, so given that he is aiming to force Ukrainians into Ukrainian military service, Ukrainians who disagree with that could possibly tell him that he, himself, must enlist and serve, accepting to put " _his own life on the line_ ", FIRST. Real leaders do so by setting examples, rather than only dictating from cozy quarters that are also safe. Leaders, real ones, must lead by example.
