Kiev's anniversary day was "celebrated" by Zelenskyy and his circle with his trademark killing of AFU men and losses of western materiel and, of course, civilians of any country have never existed in his film director twisted mind. Kursk oblast yesterday saw a turning back of battalions because of Russian attacks on fuel, ammunition and staple supplies carelessly left open to being overflown by survey drones usually used in the region for agricultural purposes. These are not military, fly high and have panoramic as well as pulse X-ray cameras intended to spot blight. It is probable that AFU personnel did not detect them and I learned about it via refugees in the UK. Kiev could not have used Kursk units in the drone attack on Veronezh and Kharkiv governors would not have permitted launching from the two deliberate gaps in the Russian buffer zone because these are for the rail lines to Kursk city and access to the Russian rail network. Kursk and Sumy cities have relied on Russian railways since late 2022 under former agreements to export goods. This might seem odd to westerners during hostilities except that Russia does not regard the cities as being part of Kiev-ruled Ukraine. It is probable that Zelenskyy ordered remaining AFU isolated platoons shadowing the buffer zone to launch many drones on an explosives plant. This will leave the AFU men exposed and unable to to reach home territory therefore they will most likely become POWs and not assets to the AFU. At this rate of attrition the AFU could cease to be combat viable.

No disrespect to anyone but tide has shifted Russia is up on the score card. The Russian Army is stronger than what I thought keep in mind they are fighting Ukraine soldiers that are armed with western weapons and they are still turning the tide. In my eyes, that's nothing to be embarrassed about. That just like saying if NATO, was in Russia with those same weapons the tide would have turned in favor of Russia. This war is back and fourth in terms of battles being fought. Russia is not ranked number two for nothing. If NATO, would have invaded Russia I think the Results would have been similar.
