This is just incorrect. If you watched any of this drone killing; you come away understanding that it doesn't matter how many years of Special Operations missions you've been on, how low your BMI is, how many 5 minute miles you can run, how excellent of a Scout Sniper you are, how many kills you have, the drone doesn't care. And as soon as you relax to drink some water, you are going to be knocked out from a shockwave, shrapnel rips through your jugular, and you bleed out in the dirt. From what most people consider an annoying toy. There is nothing exceptional about those who survive. Those who survived were the women and children who left the country. The courageous, young volunteers have mostly died in this stupid, inexcusable, unnecessary war. NATO countries are full of pompous, idiotic commentators pontificating on weapons and tactics, telling everyone why Ukraine is kicking Russia's rear end. Ukraine is losing, it doesn't have enough lives to waste. It doesn't matter if combined arms coordinated assaults are tried, or light infantry sappers are used. The point still stands. Russian artillery, Russian thermonuclear warheads, they are both beyond the capabilities of all of NATO combined. Everyone knew this in February 2022. So how did everyone go from "Wow Ukraine might actually be able to hold Russia off for a while" To today "Come on, what is taking Ukraine so long? Don't they know how to conduct a counteroffensive? They should use the magical US weapons to immediately win" That's the power of propaganda. Ask yourself, how would you get any information from the other side? Or battlefield numbers, footage and reports? You aren't allowed as a citizen in NATO. You have your opinions dictated to you.

It is easier to fool someone, than to convince someone they have been fooled. Artillery is the only thing that matters in a land war. Go look up how much artillery Russian artillery batteries use in one day, compared to Ukrainian batteries use in a day. It doesn't matter how many feminist veterans are interviewed, 60,000 High Explosive shells don't care. 500-700 young Ukrainian men a day sure as hell were not waiting for some tech company to make trinkets. For every day that this stupid, unnecessary war goes on, 500-700 Ukrainian men. Yes MEN, (the women left and the 17 year old boys are just praying they don't get conscripted), are simply waiting their turn. They're just waiting for the one with their name on it to turn them into pink mist.

They are a quite new design and have two significant advantages over the usual ones: they are very silent and far more energy efficient. I know you are already using 3d-printing for other parts of this aircrafts, so I´d suggest to give it a try. If you are already doing so, nevermind. I wish you guys all the best and maximal success! Fantastic coverage and production. Thanks for sharing. This is a scary time we live in. Like any weapon development, it is never a good thing. But, to survive, it is the only path forward. There will be a payoff in terms of the lessons learned. I know this lesson will include the knowledge that war is a profoundly bad concept and idea. But also, that the technology developed, in peace time, will help to improve agricultural yield, construction, infrastructure development, and improved monitoring systems of all sorts of kind. These are the components I hope they can sell (rather than the weapons, and defense specific items)

The Ukrainian Renaissance has been remarkable. I have tremendous respect and admiration for them. They remind me of what the US used to be before we became complacent and spoiled.

It's v hard not to be complacent when you're on top , but the most inspirational thing is even though the Ukrainians have had such a tough time the last 100 years they have amazing compassion and kindness.

About year ago i started to think if we could use basic ans cheap microphones to locate drones, as they are pretty loud. Spread them out, cheap connection too internet, and you can see where there are going and where they are. Even big country as Ukraina, you could make so wide network of microphones that it would cover whole country. Good that they are doing something like that

Was pretty much the first thing that came to mind when it became obvious how loud Shahed-136 drones are. Few cheap mobile phones, some parabolic dishes to increase gains, some signal detection software, networked with basic triangulation. Also think it could be used for targeting in theory.

cost is so important, to be able to build these drones cheap while they are still precise is awesome to bind expencive enemy troups and maybe even using expencive defensive measures. And the kamikazedrones are far cheaper than a 155mm artillery shell.

Ukraine's educational system was and remains extraordinary! Children attended school 6 days per week with free opportunities for afterschool classes in art, athletics, drama, dance, and music. Mathematics and science had a strong focus. Elementary school students were taught to be proficient in writing computer programs without ever having a computer. Slava Ukraini

Passive radar is the way to go for detecting missiles and stealth aircraft from 100-150 miles away. Putting 4+1 microphones in a star pattern to detect the location of the missile sound, is an old trick used by Americans in Afghanistan to pin point the location of snipers. If you can hear it, it's too close.

the idea is to recognize those flying targets and to track them on their way across the country. sometimes firing 1 mil worth patriot missile against shahed drone is a stupid idea, so its possible to intercept it with cheaper solutions while going across the country. so sound recognition is a cheap solution when its used as net across the country. as adition to radar systems
