Most clear and concise video on intro to Ukrainian cases I've found yet! I love that your channel really focuses on the content and delivery of the material; whereas I find some of the other language instructors on KZbin seem too focused with how they look on camera and their make-up. Your voice is also nice and relaxing; good work!

This video is excellent! Actually, I've been studying the textbook, Teach Yourself Ukrainian (Bekh and Dingly, 2nd. ed), and one thing I felt was missing from the textbook was an overview of the cases. The book introduces them one at a time, but to the reader, it would be very helpful to have an overview before diving into them. Also, interesting fun fact: the Estonian language has 14 different cases! That's so many!

I wish that I had made more of an effort to learn German, the language of my heritage. If Okean Elzy and The Hardkiss sang in German, I would probably be learning that. The live recordings of Майже Весна are simply amazing, and knowing the meanings of the words makes the experience of listening even better!

Thank you for your comment! "В" and "У" are synonymic, and are used to express the idea of being inside a defined area or space. For example, "в кімнаті" (in the room). "На" is used to express the idea of being on top of or covering something. For example, "на столі" (on the table).
