There will be losses on both sides in the air war. The F-16 was designed to go up against current Russian aircraft. Air to Air engagements will be rare compared to ground attacks. The F-16 can carry weapons Russian ground forces cannot counter. A lot depends on the F-16 training and what weapons they are allowed to use. Over Ukraine skies where Russians have feared to tread, the F-16 can operate with little risk just as Russian bombers can launch from Russia with little risk.

Training and maintenance for F-16 is complicated, countries should have started the process much earlier but hope they will arrive quickly 😊. Keeping a close eye on NATO summit and hoping restrictions are lifted.💙💛

Anna, you are contributing directly to your nation’s defense and survival through your profession. English is the standard language in international air travel. Pilots and aircrew MUST be conversant in English to operate outside their own national borders. NATO requires military flight crews to coordinate operations in English. Also, the automated voice cues in warplanes occur in English. The more widespread English fluency is in Ukraine among aircrew, the more quickly they can master their aircraft. Your role as a teacher is vital to Ukrainian survival.

Anna If you want to interview an American F 16 pilot on your channel , you should try to get the American pilot who volunteered to fly F-16s for Ukraine, retired U.S. Air Force Colonel Dan Hampton, also known as "Two Dogs" Hampton. He expressed his willingness to assist Ukraine in their fight against Russian aggression if they needed experienced pilots to fly the aircraft. Hampton is a decorated combat pilot with extensive experience, having flown numerous missions during his career.

F-16 Viper is a fearsome jet. Look up the video of two F-16's dropping kinetic kill munitions through the sunroofs of 2 cars simultaneously without hitting the edges. F-16 has an extremely powerful radar, carries HARM's, laser-guided bombs, various cruise missiles & anti-shipping missiles. And for killing Sukhois & MiG's: Sidewinder & AMRAAM missiles plus a 20mm autocannon. They're fast, agile, have a small radar cross-section and are optimized for as little workload as possible for the pilot. Very integrated avionics & weapons systems. The original design is a 4th gen fighter as is the Su-27, but today's F-16 is basically a completely new jet with outstanding multirole capabilities. Compared to the faulty, corruption-riddled modernization attempts on russian Su-27/34/35 and MiG-29's, the programs to modernize the Viper far outpaced theirs for combat-readiness in every way. That is why russians have to do things like attach little wings to their ancient bombs to hit targets outside Ukraine's air defenses, while NATO jets use long-range laser-guided JDAM's. These will be an absolute menace for the poorly-trained russian soldiers and pilots. We need to get dozens of these planes to Ukraine as quickly as possible, and allow them to hit military & infrastructure targets inside russia. Immediately. We can trust the Ukrainians not to target children's hospitals or people's homes 😡 🇺🇦✊️🇺🇸🛩

Escalation, escalation, escalation. I am so tired of that word, escalation. I first heard the word back in the sixties about Vietnam. We did not want to do this because it would be escalation. Then we did not want to do that because it would be escalation. In the end, we did both, but we still lost the war because we did them too late. Escalation is the whimper of a political coward who is trying to pretend that he is not involved in a war. He thinks that if he just holds back and does not cross some imaginary line, it will not become an actual war. Ukraine became an actual war in 2014 when Putin sent his "little green men" across the border. From the moment that the first Ukrainian soldier died from Russian gunfire, it has been a full force war. When Putin directed his propaganda machine to flood the United States with lies in order to place his puppet into the White House, The US became involved in the war. There is only one way to win a war. That is to dedicate all our available resources to it and use it without any reservations except for those of the Geneva convention and the international war crimes commission.

Heroyam slava! 💙✌💛 The way I see it is, we may think we are afraid now, but you can bet anything you like, that if we don't get this war stopped now, afraid will turn into petrified; for those who are "concerned" or worried now about how r ussia "might" react. I would so love the people who were around during the second world war, to be here now, telling us all how they felt prior to 1939... Hopefully, some of us will have had parent's/grandparent's stories of how they felt about our potential involvement with *that* war looming! I know how mine felt - it, their attitude to how best to react or become involved, was hugely connected to the very mindset of the ones waging that war... Many far to similar things, were thought about those invading nations' leaders back then, that sound so very familiar now. This, I believe, is why some have already and often mentioned 1938 and in fact the run-ups to the second world war in the 1930s. This war is a test run for russia, the "promise" of a pattern that will work, to enable russia to expand into not many nations who all belong to one defense organisation such as NATO, but as an imperialistic russia that permeates its occupation of nations, over both the decades and the centuries ahead. *A test run!* It doesn't care if it takes many, many years, if this is working for them now (Georgia, etc.,) *do you see the patterns forming?* I do! And that is not scaremongering or paranoia, it's foresight and the want and need to protect the stability that our forefathers fought for, and the stability that russia now disturbs.
