@@nunogfsilva you can't determine where they shoot from just from the video. The shells fly too fast, if you are lucky you get like 2 frames of the shell. This of course depends on the framerate of the camera, I would imagine it being quite low on a commercial drone.

A few theories I saw: - truck was in idle (because it is damn cold) and the damage somehow switched the gear - fire caused the engine to start - it was just downhill and the fire caused the breaks to fail - and if course the insane one that a Ruzzian soldier somehow got in that cabin while it was engulfed in meter high flames and drove it away.

For those curious on the moving truck. Unless someone can tell me wrong. It’s either on an incline and break lines have melted or been put into gear and let roll. The vehicle turning is just like when you let the hands off the wheel and you run something over. Now it’ll be different with a vehicle of this mass vs your car but multiple objects are going to turn that wheel as they go over them and naturally return straight with speed. No one can with stand fire or suffocation. That would be the main problem. Even if the fire was only above him in the truck that would draw out oxygen rapidly and he’d suffocate.

The starter turns the engine over and that turns the transmission. You have probably never driven anything old enough to not have a safety switch on the clutch pedal but those old rigs would move if you engaged the starter without depressing the clutch.

I've seen a car or three on fire over the years and sometimes the electrical goes haywire when the fire hits it. Mostly horns and starter motors. I was thinking the truck was in gear and the starter motor started firing off. It isn't just rolling, it is moving on its own.

On the discussion on how it started to drive my thoughts go to that it was running to begin with. It was in neutral because it’s freezing cold. As it was bombed the cabin collapsed and the gears was hit into place, thus started to drive.

my idea: the fire melted the brake fluid hose and piping, and hand brake cables that released the brakes so the truck slid down the inclined terrain

@@noycamba I think you are right, if the trucks engine was running and in gear it would have kept going through the rubble, but because it was rolling it stopped easy.

@@noycamba anyone whose spent time in the military knows you never turn off a truck you intend to use again soon so that makes sense. Dudes had the truck running intending to use it again and the brake line was cut.

They're parked in gear. As the wires melted in the fire the contacts for the started motor made connection and forced the wagon to move. Useful if an engine won't start yet you need something moving a short distance.

Al parecer fue un fallo de los frenos, el camión estaba un poco inclinado y el fuego hizo que fallaran los frenos según otra gente acá en los comentarios
