It's an interesting start. But until it can travel over irregular terrain faster than a soldier can run, its use will be quite limited. It mentioned taking all day (implying over 8 hours) to travel it's Summer time travel distance of 20 kilometers (12 miles). So, its travel speed is at best a the pace of modest walk. It needs a suspension, or at least large, very low pressure tires that serve as a suspension..It also should be able in most instances to right itself in the event it flips.

Back in December of 2017, in "The Ai Wars" on Medium - "Imagine if Putin invaded Ukraine with slaughterbots. China would gladly exert more military pressure on the South China Sea and the strait of Malacca." and "tanks are obsolete, as are helicopters, because they are large targets. Aircraft carriers are not as threatening as a swarm of mechanical dolphins." and "The surest way to conquer is to disable your rival’s infrastructure. Like General Sherman’s march, drones will be trained to target equipment and facilities" and "humans with tele-operation can pull the trigger of a gun with wheels." Yup. got those right. Consider this from the same essay: "Robots with non-lethal weaponry allow for general suppression of a population - the robots can set-up and maintain a larger perimeter, as well as rapidly segment regions to cut enemy supply lines and movement of forces. Non-lethal robots quarantine quadrants, and ensure safe passage for your own forces." Other essays dive into the concepts, from "Rocket-Deployed Flying Squirrels with Guns" to "Bad Things"... the Uncanny Valley is the next battlefield.

And triple the weight and halve the range? Their best defence in this situation is the ability to stay as low to the ground as the size of the (necessarily large) battery allows and therefore stay in cover while moving faster than would normally be possible while staying so low. I'd have gone for soft tracks like the ones on mini excavators to minimise ground pressure and the risk from mines. Wide footprint to put tracks on the outside with batteries and payload between them, thus minimising profile and maximising stability, but that may be a slightly different project. The tracked low ground pressure version would be far more useful in the muddy season, too.
