Sweden plans to send Gripen fighter jets to Ukraine to enable the introduction of F-16 fighter jets. Ukraine last year began discussions with Sweden about the possibility of receiving Gripen jets, and the Nordic country later said it would assess the potential delivery of the planes made by Swedish defense contractor Saab.

The Gripen is the absolute best plane for Ukraine. The Vulture can take off and land on ordinary roads and does not need airfields. Therefore, the grip is more difficult to put out of play.

I mentioned this at the outset of the war. The main advantage of the Gripen in this conflict is its dispersibility. It’s an advanced STOL fighter.

Agree with you at that one, closest thing an Ukraniaan Pilot come to fly a Gripen is in the two seat training planes and then just as a passenger. The Ukranian marks on the F16 I guess is photoshopped, as to my knowledge they are not delivered yet. The Planes Ukraine got so far is the old Polish Migs.

If Ukraine had a Swedish aircraft, the JAS-39 Gripen E would be even more powerful than the F-16, and the technology equivalent to the US F-35 and the Russian SU-35 would be cheaper and could destroy the SU-Russian free-range aircraft only. 30 seconds just not stealthy like the F-35 or SU-35, but has a system that allows to approach the enemy aircraft without realizing it, so can easily shoot down enemy, the Jas-39 Gripen E can takeoff with Only a short distance of 190 meters, can fly from the high speed, can land and reload in just 10 minutes, the program in the aircraft can change the update as easily as the smartphone program, the aircraft has a missile defense system nearby. Sweden, such as Russia's S-400 in Kalingrad, and the maintenance and repair costs are cheaper than the F-16. So if Ukraine have had this aircraft, it would be far better than the F-16, especially the F-16, which needs a runway of up to 3,000 meters (the Swedish plane only needs 190 meters) because most of Ukraine's major airports have been destroyed by invaders.

Sorry, but you are wrong. Sure the runway issue, true, but Ukraine got runways that can be used. And the F-16 can land at ukranian highways, F-16 was landed at danish highways for test. And fueled and armed a Gripen cant tke off from 190m, and the F16’s never used 3000m when taking off when I saw it. We calculated 800-900m but all depends on wind, fuel, arms, airpressure. You cant compare like you try to. The F-16 got a wider amount of arms, and the F-16 Ukr will get got a better radar than the Gripen. And, many many Nato members got stockpiles of missiles for the F-16 In any of such choises, there are plusses and minuses.

The problem with Ukrainians flying these and F-16's is that they have been trained completely different. It would almost be better to train someone from scratch. A good plane is only a fraction of the fight. Pilots have many many hours on those aircraft and know every subtle thing about it. They just do not have the time to know them that well. I'm afraid it is a mistake to do, and Putin will only use one after it is shot down as propaganda.
